Washington Bayhawks

The Washington Bayhawks? Washington? Bayhawks?

Simple explanation: the Baltimore Bayhawks moved to D.C. in November and are keeping their nickname. It doesn't make a lick of sense, but I understand why a team that has won two Major League Lacrosse championships and four division titles might want to keep their identity even if they aren't keeping their city.

The logo is attractive, but equally confusing as their name. Is that supposed to be a lacrosse stick's basket? It's pretty abstract if it is and not a logo that I will be sporting anytime soon.

They do get points for not using "lax" in their name anywhere, so there you go.
