University of Southern California Trojans
Speaking of USC, am I the only one that is bothered by the logo that graces their helmets?
On one hand I like it because it's traditional. On the other hand, the first impression that I get when I see them out on the field in these helmets is that the poor Trojan is wearing a hot dog or a taco or a cinnamon twist or a caterpillar on his head. I also have always thought that the first feather (or whatever it is) looks like a big throbbing big toe from a Bugs Bunny cartoon.
Thus, even when they are winning, I have never been able to take them seriously. All I can think of is tacos. Then again, that's just about all I think about anyway. Mmmmm.....tacos.

Brandon,
Great site and thoughts. But I think it's just you on this one.
Love the traditional look.

Do you think the Michigan State Spartans have a better piece of Hellenistic logo work/iconography?
I always think of condoms.
i don't care for their helmets but i love the colors of their uniforms. i find any kind of roman or greek related nicknames kind of silly actually.
